Ju pu, or gook po in Cantonese - Shu Pu’er with Chrysanthemum flowers is a staple blend in Cantonese region. It’s commonly found in dim sum restaurants and as an everyday elixir. From the Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, it’s considered beneficial for the eyes, liver and digestion, as well as cooling for the body.
This is a blend of our 2012 Shu Pu’er and locally grown 菊花 Ju Hua from Lunaria Flower Farm in Pescadero, California.
Brewing Tips:
5g/100 ml boiling water, steep for 3-5 minutes, strain and repeat.
