Harvested during late Spring, these leaves are picked by hand then wok-fried by hand swiftly at a high temperature. More aromatic than your usual green tea, this green produces notes of honeysuckle and grass, with a nutty finish and slight bitterness. Enjoy it fresh or aged.

Brewing Tips:

5g/100 ml using 176F/80C water. Start with 10 second infusions.

Classic wok fried green tea

Once I experimented with it and figured out the brewing perimeters, I gotta say this is my go-to green tea. Not usually a green tea lover but I enjoy a good hui long zhai green and occasionally a dragonwell. 5g of leaf to about 175F does the trick for me. Refreshing, with a subtle bitterness, and a lot of floral sweetness.
