Often translated as ‘Iron Goddess of Mercy’, Guan Yin is a bodhisattva, an enlightened being worshipped in the Buddhist tradition. Guan Yin means ‘one who perceives the sounds of the world”.
Cultivated by a fourth-generation family farm in Southern Fujian province, this lightly oxidized oolong is picked in Spring. Light oxidation and a gentle roast, this oolong produces floral high notes with a nutty finish, it's a tea best for early mornings.
